May 3rd
As it is Mother’s Day, we have prepared a program dedicated to families, which will also be a journey through some of the most beautiful examples of our heritage. It will begin at the beautiful Church of the Convent of Jesus, where we will be welcomed by the Setúbal Children’s Choir. We will then proceed, guided by Ribombando from AMBALT, to the Town Hall, where we will be received by the figure of Luísa Todi, brought to life by soprano Ana Raquel Sousa and the female choir TuttiEncantus. We will finish at the beautiful Church of São Sebastião, where performer Carolina Gaspar will bring us poetry and peace through the sound pipes of the historic organ in the upper choir.
Our artistic director, António Laertes, will act as host for this event and guide us on this family journey.
This performance also features the participation of the Setúbal Children’s Choir and the Luísa Todi Academy of Music and Fine Arts.
