About the Trust
The Helen Hamlyn Trust is an independent grant-making trust that initiates medium- and long-term projects reflecting the shared interests of Lady Hamlyn CBE and her late husband, Lord Hamlyn. Its core ethos is to develop innovative projects that create lasting change, enhance quality of life, and benefit the public.
The Paul Hamlyn Foundation has provided several grants to support the Trust’s work, which aligns with the Foundation’s mission and objectives.
The Trust focuses on grant-making in medicine, arts and culture, education and welfare, healthy ageing, international humanitarian affairs, and heritage and conservation in India. The Trust fosters long-term relationships with leading organisations and individuals, facilitating new initiatives and connecting organisations to nurture fresh thinking.
